Rodolphe Barrangou

Rodolphe Barrangou, Ph. D., is a TR Klaenhammer Distinguished Professor at NC State University, and a member of the US National Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Engineering, and the National Academy of Inventors. Rodolphe was at the genesis point of CRISPR with Caribou Biosciences and Intellia Therapeutics. He brought these skills to NC State and launched Locus Biosciences. He is editor-in-chief of the CRISPR Journal, and frequent contributor to media and educational efforts. He played a role in the new documentary Human Nature, featured on Amazon Prime Video. TreeCo represents his eighth scientific business venture.
